Here is a project I worked on at my past Job as a Marketing Assistant.
Business 10 Year Anniversary Event
Event Coordinator
This project encompassed various responsibilities including brainstorming ideas, constructing weekly plans, booking vendors and designing the social media campaign for the week-long event.

Over a series of months, I worked to make the event a memorable reflection of the community and relationships the business had created.

Planning
The start of the project included meeting with the owner and Marketing Director to determine a goal for the event, requirements, and budgets.

The goal was to show the progress of the company while drawing attention to the other small business that made it all possible.
​
The event would not only appeal to loyal customers but also new possible buyers.
​
With a goal in mind and a budget set my work began.
I drafted ideas, made step-by-step plans and began to research vendors to help collaborate our event. I also created a daily social media strategy for the event.

Once the vendors were chosen, I reached out and collaborated with them. My goal was to select products that would provide a variety of choices for customers.
Designing & Execution
Once the vision for the event was created, I brought the idea to life.
This included creating digital graphics for the social media and in-store marketing campaign with Canva as well as web design.
Additionally, I helped design the special merchandise for the event., i.e., Anniversary T-shirts.
Once the week arrived, I finalized plans, organized vendor layouts, coordinated day of timelines, and posted and monitored social media ads.
